We are bombarded daily with information on how to live a healthy life and it can get rather overwhelming, confusing and almost demotivating. There are so many opinions when it comes to health- who do we listen to ?
Being
a health student, I have to be careful which information I am going to take on
board and which I think is best to leave behind.
Whenever
I begin to think of blog topics or advice for a client, I really have to think
carefully about what advice will proactively help my clients.
As
health professionals we need to be experts at giving our clients the tools to
enhance their daily health choices without making them feel overwhelmed and
then fearful of their health journey.
So
from my experience it’s best to take small, simple and realistic steps.
Anxiety,
depression, fatigue, weight gain, infertility is your body’s way of signaling
that something needs to change. Remember...small, simple steps, swapping this
for that and you will be amazed to see how the body will thank you for these
changes and will begin to heal itself and work in your favor. Your body is
supporting you everyday, keeping you alive and well- it deserves the love back. Remember that you are a product of
everything you put into your body.
I made these simple changes, and so can you! Read on and learn to SWAP THIS FOR THAT!
Note: Most of these healthy alternatives can be found at your local supermarket or preferably your local health store.
